What
Do Wolves Hunt?
Wolves are
carnivore, which means they only eat meat. They perfer to hunt hoofed animals,
such as, musk oxen, deer, moose, and caribou, but they will also hunt beavers,
rabbits, hares and small rodents. They hunt in pack. Only the pups stay
behind. Wolves only attack the old and sick. The young and strong caribou
is much more difficult to catch. Sometimes if there is no food to catch,
wolves kill another wolf of his own pack.
